SAN ANTONIO (FBW)—Two Floridians have been appointed by Southern Baptist Convention President Frank Page to serve on the SBC's Committee on Committees which will assemble in San Antonio, Texas, just prior to the SBC's June 12-13 annual meeting. Page also appointed Floridians to the Tellers Committee, while others have been nominated to serve on various SBC entities' governing boards.
Tim Passmore, pastor of Woodland Baptist Church in Bradenton, and Forrest Pollock, pastor of Bell Shoals Baptist Church in Brandon, were appointed to the 70-member committee. Frank Moreno, director of the Florida Baptist Convention Language Division, was named to the tellers committee.
Other Florida Baptists have been nominated by the 2006 SBC Committee on Nominations and will serve if elected by the messengers to the annual meeting June 12-13 in San Antonio.

Nominees with term to expire in 2011, replacing members ineligible for re-election include Debbie Brunson, layperson and member of First Baptist Church in Jacksonville, replacing Clytee Harness, Elfers.
Nominated with term to expire in 2010 is Waylon B. Moore, layperson and member of CrossPointe Church, Wesley Chapel, replacing Gary L. Crawford, pastor, Westside Baptist Church in Gainesville, who resigned.
North American Mission Board
Nominated for second term is Timothy C. (Tim) Patterson, pastor, Hillcrest Baptist Church in Jacksonville.

Nominated with term to expire in 2009 is James A. Wells, associate pastor of First Baptist Church, Eustis, replacing Douglas R. (Doug) Luckett, Sarasota, who resigned.
Southern Seminary
