15 Floridians among 272 grads at Southern SeminaryPublished July 24, 2008
LOUISVILLE (SBTS)–Fifteen Floridians were among the 272 graduates receiving diplomas at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary’s 201st graduation May 16. Kathleen P. Bryan from High Springs received the LCM-Master of Arts in Christian Education. The 1999 graduate of University of North Florida in Jacksonville is married to Jesse Bryan. Her home church is First Baptist, High Springs. Sam Crosby, whose home church is Celebration Baptist in Jacksonville, is a graduate of Florida State University, Tallahassee, and is married to Lindsay Crosby. He received the TH-Master of Divinity degree. R. Lauren Duncan received the BS degree in Church Ministry from Boyce College. She is from Jacksonville, and her home church is First Baptist. Joseph Michael Eaton, a 2003 graduate of Florida State University, received the TH-Master of Divinity. He is from Jupiter and considers his home church First Baptist in West Palm Beach. His wife is Michelle Elizabeth Eaton. Melissa Genea Garner received the MUS-Master of Church Music. A graduate of Baptist College of Florida in Graceville, she lists her home church as First Baptist Church, Niceville. Reagan Marsh, whose home church is Hillcrest Baptist in Pensacola, received the TH-Master of Arts in Theological Studies. A graduate of William Carey College, Hattiesburg, Miss., he is married to Kara Marsh. Evan Michael McRae received the BS-Counseling degree from Boyce College, and his wife, Ruthanne, received the BS-Missions. His home church is Idlewild Baptist in Tampa, and her home church is Church by the Glades in Coral Springs. Sarah Welch Robinson, a 2004 graduate of University of Central Florida in Orlando, received the LCM-Master of Arts in Christian Education. She is married to Clayton Robinson, and considers her home church First Baptist in Oviedo. Timothy McCord Rucker received the TH-Master of Divinity. The 2005 Wheaton (Ill.) College graduate lists his home church as Keene Terrace Baptist in Largo. Will Smallwood received the TH-Master of Divinity. He is a 1997 graduate of University of Florida, Gainesville, and lists his home church as Jonesville Baptist in Newberry. He is married to Caroline Smallwood. Lindsay Noel Swartz from Atlantic Beach received the TH-Master of Divinity. She is a graduate of University of Florida, Gainesville, and considers her home church Neptune Baptist in Neptune Beach. Jeremy Todd, a 2002 graduate of Union University in Jackson, Tenn., received the LCM-Master of Arts in Christian Education. He is minister to students at Fruit Cove Baptist Church in Jacksonville, and is married to Leslie Todd. Mitch Whiddon Jr. received the BS-Missions from Boyce College. He is married to Debbie Whidden and considers First Baptist in Fort Ogden his home church. Pete Wilkinson, who lists Westside Baptist in Gainesville as his home church, received the BA-Biblical and Theological Studies from Boyce College. He is married to Emily Wilkinson.
