This Lord's Day Christians across the United States and around the world will celebrate the glorious resurrection of Jesus. As the Scriptures report and believers from the first century forward have testified, on the third day after his burial, Jesus arose from the grave leaving behind an empty tomb.

Once again, Americans are spending everything they make?and then some. The U.S. Commerce Department reports that the 2006 savings rate was a negative one percent. This means that Americans either dipped into their savings or borrowed to finance purchases.

Former President Jimmy Carter is at it once again. In a recent interview with Beliefnet.com, Mr. Carter stated once again his belief that there is salvation outside of faith in Christ. But this time he seems to have gone even further, suggesting openly that all persons will be saved.
