BLACK CREEKFirst Baptist Church, Middleburg, will host speaker Bernadette Todd May 8 at 6 p.m. The wheelchair-bound speaker is a native of Jamaica. For more information, call 904-282-5289. HALIFAXRima Ridge Baptist Church, Ormond Beach, will mark its 25th anniversary May 22 with Southern Baptist Convention president Bobby Welch. Outdoor Sportsmen's Fest 2005 April 30, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The event,
for men and boys, will include a wild game feast; a car, ATV,
truck and boat show; hunting and fishing demonstrations; prizes
and competitions. Guest speaker is Randy Lamb, evangelist and

For more information, call 863- 858-3314. WEST FLORIDAThe Baptist Men of West Florida Baptist Association are sponsoring a Scale Fish Fishing Tournament April 29-30. The tournament banquet will begin Friday at 6:30 p.m. with speaker Scott Martin, a professional bass fisherman and son of Roland Martin. Proceeds from the event will go to the restoration of Armstrong House, a 12-apartment complex that will house needy persons. The fishing tournament will be held April 30 at the Gap Pond boat landing in Sunny Hills. |
