Workshop trains volunteers to teach English overseas

TAMPA (FBC)–A workshop for volunteers traveling overseas to teach English as a foreign language will be held April 8-9 at Seminole Heights Baptist Church in Tampa and April 22-23 at King Street Baptist Church in Cocoa.

Designed specifically for short term volunteers, the workshops will address Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TELF) principles, lesson planning, culturally appropriate topics and necessary materials. Participants will receive a certificate of completion.
