Develop safety and security policies that prevent abuse

LAKELAND (FBC)—Church leaders and volunteers can take action in the prevention of child abuse and learn to create a safer environment for children and youth entrusted to the church’s care during the “Protecting Our Future Conference” April 5 at Parkview Baptist Church in Lakeland. This free, one day training helps churches develop safety policies and reduces the possibility of the physical or sexual abuse of a minor within a ministry.

The conference is 9 a.m. until noon.
