Develop safety and security policies that prevent abusePublished March 17, 2005
LAKELAND (FBC)Church leaders and volunteers can take action in the prevention of child abuse and learn to create a safer environment for children and youth entrusted to the churchs care during the Protecting Our Future Conference April 5 at Parkview Baptist Church in Lakeland. This free, one day training helps churches develop safety policies and reduces the possibility of the physical or sexual abuse of a minor within a ministry. The conference is 9 a.m. until noon.
