Senior Adult Minister’s Conference to be held May 16 in Brandon

BRANDON (FBC)—A one day conference for senior adult ministers is May 16 at Bell Shoals Baptist Church in Brandon. Participants will hear insights from Dick Cooney, middle adults pastor of Rolling Hills Covenant Church in Rolling Hills Estates, Calif. Cooney is president of the Christian Association of Senior Adults (CASA), a California-based ministry that seeks to provide leadership resources and training for individuals ministering to adults 50 years of age and above.

The conference is 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Cost is $40 per person and includes lunch and a notebook. Churches who register more than one individual receive a $20 discount per person after the initial fee.
