Focus on the Family co-sponsor of rally at State Capitol Mar. 13

TALLAHASSEE (FBW)-Focus on the Family will join with Fort Lauderdale’s Center for Reclaiming America, the Christian Coalition and nearly a dozen other pro-family groups March 13 in a rally at the State Capitol in support of Terri Schiavo.

Schiavo, the 41-year-old woman at the center of an international debate, is scheduled to begin the starvation and dehydration process March 18 unless intervention occurs.

At the “Rose Rally,” which begins at 3 p.m. EST on the steps of the “old” capitol in the courtyard, participants will hold over a thousand long-stemmed roses with a note: “No food or water.”

A March 12 vigil and press conference is planned at the Woodside Hospice in Pinellas Park where Terri resides.
