Prevent the abuse of minors; learn to develop safety and security policiesPublished March 3, 2005
GAINESVILLE (FBC)-Church leaders and volunteers can take action in the prevention of child abuse and learn to create a safer environment for children and youth entrusted to the churchs care during the Protecting Our Future Conference March 16 at Parkview Baptist Church in Gainesville. This free, one-day conference will provide training that will help reduce the possibility of the physical or sexual abuse of a minor in your church and can help with the development of policies for safety, security and legal matters within a ministry. The conference begins at 9 a.m. and concludes at noon. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required.
