Prevent the abuse of minors; learn to develop safety and security policiesPublished February 24, 2005
JAKSONVILLE (FBC)-Church leaders and volunteers can take action in the prevention of child abuse and learn to create a safer environment for children and youth entrusted to the churchs care during the Protecting Our Future Conference March 16 at Parkview Baptist Church in Gainesville. This free, one day conference will provide training that will help reduce the possibility of the physical or sexual abuse of a minor in your church and can help with the development of policies for safety, security and legal matters within a ministry. The conference begins at 9 a.m. and concludes at noon. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required.
