Learn parenting skills that build families

 

Learn how to build stronger families at a one-day parenting conference held at Hiland Park Baptist Church, Panama City, March 5. The conference, based on the book Building Strong Parents in Stressful Times, will feature author John Trent, president of Strong Families, a ministry committed to strengthening marriage and family relationships. Trent will discuss the importance of affirming children from a young age and the meaning of blessing a child’s life. Other topics will include learning from the experience of senior adults and improving communication skills between couples and within families. The conference begins at 9 a.m. and concludes at 3 p.m. Cost to attend is $35 per couple or $20 per individual. Lunch is provided for an additional $5.
