HALIFAX

First Baptist Church, Oak Hill, will meet in revival Feb. 9-13. Guest evangelist Mark Stephens, director of the Theological Education/Distance Learning Department of the Florida Baptist Convention, will speak on “Created for the Glory of God.” Service times are nightly at 7 p.m., then Sun., 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. For more information, call 386-345-3326.

ST. JOHN'S RIVER

Anastasia Baptist Church in St. Augustine broke ground Dec. 12 for a new multi-purpose/education building. The 3-story, 52,000 square foot structure will contain a large room that will accommodate 550 for dinner or 1100 for worship or conference, 17 classrooms, library, kitchen and atrium. Participating in the event were associate pastors (from left) Keith Pate, minister of music; Mason Reigger, minister of youth; Dan Ott, adult ministries; Walter West, administration; Bobby Crum, contemporary worship and young adults; and Ron Moore, senior pastor.

SUNCOAST

David Henderson, founding pastor of Eagle’s Landing Baptist Church in New Port Richey, recently performed the five-year-old congregation’s 100th baptism. Ross Martinez was baptized in the swimming pool of Word of Life Conference Center in Hudson.
