Anastasia Baptist Church in St. Augustine broke ground Dec. 12 for a new multi-purpose/education building. The 3-story, 52,000 square foot structure will contain a large room that will accommodate 550 for dinner or 1100 for worship or conference, 17 classrooms, library, kitchen and atrium. David Henderson, founding pastor of Eagle’s Landing Baptist Church in New Port Richey, recently performed the five-year-old congregation’s 100th baptism. Ross Martinez was baptized in the swimming pool of Word of Life Conference Center in Hudson.
