Ronald Reagan is focus of PBAU's ethics forum March 29-30

WEST PALM BEACH (FBW)—Palm Beach Atlantic University will host a forum on “A Legacy of Ethics and Character” March 29-30 focusing on the character and principles of former President Ronald W. Reagan.

University president, David W. Clark, said in a release, the program is intended for students as well as members of the community to meet individuals involved in policy making during President Reagan’s tenure.

“The University continually strives to provide students opportunities that foster citizenship, service and character formation outside as well as inside the classroom,” Clark said. “This program, which focuses on the legacy of President Reagan, is a prime occasion to highlight the importance of ethics in the workplace and the community.”

The University has invited four individuals who were intimately involved in strategic policy making during the Ronald Reagan presidency. The speakers are the Honorable William Brock, senator from Tennessee, former trade representative and former Republican National Committee chairman; J. Douglas Holladay, former White House and State Department staff member; Robert McFarlane, III, former national security advisor; and the Honorable Edwin Meese, former attorney general of the United States.

The speakers will share behind the scenes stories about their time with President Reagan and the importance of ethical behavior in shaping his administration at a dinner March 29 at The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach. Tickets to the dinner are $125 per person or $1,250 per table of 10. For more information, call Mary Lewis, director of corporate and foundation relations, at 561-803-2015.

On March 30, the four will speak on campus in chapel, address classes and meet with student leaders.

The ethics forum is supported by the Albert E. and Birdie W. Einstein Fund, Inc., the Tarzian Endowment, JPMorgan Private Client Services and The Breakers.
