United Christian Giving luncheon to feature entertainer Pat Boone

FORT MYERS (FBW)-United Christian Giving will host speaker/entertainer Pat Boone at its third annual luncheon June 17. The event will begin at 11:30 a.m. at Harborside Event Center in downtown Fort Myers.

The southwest Florida organization, led by Frank Helmerich, awards challenge grants and scholarships to Christian organizations and initiatives. UCG recently awarded $168,000 to 48 selected recipients.

Governor Jeb Bush spoke at the 2003 luncheon, which was attended by more than 1,000.
