Florida Senate resolution congratulates Florida Baptist Children's Homes for making a difference for 100 years

Julie Boyd (l), Florida Baptist Children’s Homes North Florida area administrator, recently received a copy of Florida Senate resolution 2896 from Senate Majority Whip Paula Dockery (R, Lakeland). Dockery sponsored the  resolution which commended the Florida Baptist Children’s Homes for  “its outstanding support of and contributions to the lives of Florida’s children, on this its 100th anniversary.” The resolution was both introduced and adopted by the Senate April 23.

The document honored FBCH for its “proactive approach in healing broken lives;” providing children “medical care, nourishing food, proper clothing, and education, including counseling, love, attention, and a positive lifestyle; “ and operating campuses which “serve school-age boys and girls in family-style residences.”
