Rosie gets ‘married’ ... to her wife?

Two days after President Bush called for a constitutional
amendment banning gay marriage, Rosie ODonnell announced
her wedding plans on ABCs Good Morning America.
Rosie said she finds the proposed amendment immoral.
She added, And you know, if civil disobedience is the way
to go about change, then I think a lot of people will be going to
San Francisco. And that is exactly what Rosie did. She went
to San Francisco where she married her girlfriend
Kelli Carpenter, who Rosie refers to as her wife.

Florida drivers may ‘Choose Life’ license plate without paying switching fee

may switch to a Choose Life license plate by mail, and Choose
Life, Inc., will pay the switching fee of $19.65. A driver does
not have to wait until his renewal date to take advantage of the
organizations offer.

VERO BEACH (FBW)Thomas McDaniel was recently named
administrator of the Florida Baptist Retirement Center in Vero
Beach. The 44-year old, award-winning facility is a ministry of
Florida Baptist Financial Services, Inc.

The present population of Cuba is about 11.2 million and 2.3
million of those live in Havana. The Republic of Cuba is 42,800
square miles and about the same size as the state of Tennessee.
Standing on the beach at Key West Florida, Baptists are reminded

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (BP)A limited ruling by a Missouri
judge may prompt the Missouri Baptist Conventions legal
task force to adjust its strategy against five breakaway MBC
entities.

CWA, Sandy Rios split over ‘irreconcilable differences’
WASHINGTON (BP)Sandy Rios is no longer president of the
Washington D.C.-based Concerned Women for America.
The pro-family organization posted a statement on its Web site
March 12 that CWA and Rios "parted amicably over
irreconcilable differences" concerning the
"administration" of the organization. The statement
added that the organization's stands "on issues of
importance" will not change.
