Brevard Northwest Baptist Church, Cocoa will host a Fall Festival Nov. 22, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. The free event will feature games, food, hayrides, face painting and cakewalks. Choctaw Rocky Bayou Baptist Church, Niceville will hold a Missions Fair Nov. 16, 11:30 a.m. 3 p.m. Representatives from the International Mission Board, North American Mission Board, and colleges and seminaries which train missionary candidates will be present to answer questions and tell of up-coming short-term mission opportunities. Marion John Edwin McKinley of Ocala, retired pastor of the former Rainbow Lakes Baptist Church, Dunnellon, died Oct. 12. He was 88. He also served as pastor of churches in Jacksonville, Orlando and Hollywood in his 47-year ministry. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty; and a daughter, Marti Funk. Pensacola Bay Pine Summit Baptist Church staff and volunteers, in partnership with Pensacola Bay Baptist Association, participated in the dedication of ten homes near the church which were built by Habitat for Humanity. The Pine Summit team served a fried chicken dinner to the more than 200 who attended the dedication. The congregation also presented each new homeowner with a clock engraved with "Welcome to the neighborhood" and Prov. 3:5-6. Ridge Lake Shipp Baptist Church, Winter Haven will mark its 50th anniversary Nov. 9 at 10:30 a.m. The service will include a mortgage-burning ceremony and dedication of new property adjacent to the present building. Morris, 58, wife of director of missions Danny Morris Sr., died Oct. 21. She was secretary to Ron Churchill, pastor of First Baptist Church, Plant City, where she also was a member. She is survived by her husband; a son, Dan Jr.; two daughters, Lisa Yates and Christy Morris; her mother, Laverne Watt; and six grandchildren.

Danny Morris, director of missions, and Barbara Corley, assistant WMU director, presented Watson with a plaque, flowers, and cards and letters from friends across Florida.
