A prayer caravan of relief workers wound its way through the south of Jordan Sept. 5-6 from the ancient "lost" city of Petra to Mount Nebo, where Moses is said to have received the Ten Commandments in the land of the Dead Sea. They continued to Umm Qais where Israel, Syria and Jordan meet so they could glimpse the Sea of Galilee. On their way to deliver food products and other items to an estimated half a million Iraqi refugees living in the region–the workers, from Florida, Texas, Virginia, Georgia and North Carolina–were set to go to Iraq when plans changed and they were diverted to Jordan.
